József a Kazincbarcikai Városszépítő Egyesület elnöke, igazi lokálpatrióta. Idős kora ellenére, a posztszocialista, ipari városban elszántan próbálja újra közelebb hozni a természet szeretetét az emberekhez. Célja, hogy közösséget teremtsen, és a közösség erejével felvirágoztassa Kazincbarcikát. A "Legszebb virágos erkély, kert és intézmény" versenyének díjátadó ünnepsége után József egyre jobban aggódik a város virágos jövőjéért. Vajon a következő generáció képes-e, és akarja-e átvenni ezt a szenvedélyes elhivatottságot, ami Józsefet egész életében hajtotta?

For József, head of the City Beautificators Association, Kazincbarcika is the centre of the world. Despite his old age, József is determined to find the city’s natural beauty, hidden between the cold, industrial post-Soviet architecture. With one goal in mind, he hopes to encourage others to fall in love with nature again. After hosting the annual ceremony for the city’s best gardens and balconies, József contemplates the future of gardening in Kazincbarcika, and fears that his passion for the green grass of home will slowly fade away with him.

Viktor Toroptsev, egy taxisofőr Kelet-Oroszország egyik, veszélynek kitett városában, rádöbben, hogy kritikus ponthoz ért az élete. Youtube-csatornát indít, ahol bizonyítékokat kezd közzétenni népe teljes szegénységéről és jogfosztottságáról, és hasonló lelkületű emberekből csapatot állít össze. Viktor elszántan hisz abban, hogy meg kell mentenie városát és egész Oroszországot az elkerülhetetlen haláltól. Élete sorsdöntő útjára készül anélkül, hogy tisztában lenne az események láncolatával, amit elindít.

Viktor Toroptsev, a taxi driver from an endangered city in the Russian Far East, decides he has arrived at a critical moment in his life. He starts a Youtube channel to publish evidence of his people’s total poverty and lack of rights, and in doing so, gathers a team of like-minded people. Victor is sure that he must save his city and all of Russia from inevitable death, and begins the most crucial journey of his life without realizing the chain of events this sets off.
