A woman who refuses to surrender, even as history tears everything away.

The touching story of a young woman at the beginning of the 20th century who becomes a mother under the most adverse circumstances.  Strokes of fate and the cover-up of her Jewish ancestry during the Nazi era gradually rob her of her identity. Despite the fear, the courage to make an outrageous decision grows, moved by the hope for a new beginning.
